Historical Interpretation
Existing battlefield interpretation for the Palmito Ranch Battlefield includes:
- A marker and some signage on Boca Chica Highway (Texas State Highway 4) about 14 miles east of Brownsville near where Palmito Ranch originally stood.
- A viewing platform constructed in 2014.
- A repeating radio broadcast program - Listen to Audio Program
- Printed tourist brochures stocked at local visitor’s centers - Download Brochure
