Public Meetings
Two public meetings were held in January 2017 and August 2019 at Brownsville Public Library and the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley, respectively. Key project partners and stakeholders discussed emerging issues of the Palmito Ranch battlefield and shared their concerns and ideas to preserve the battlefield site.
